I have wanted to start a blog of some kind for a while now and I think that where I am in my life right now this is a good time to start. #Chapter48 hasn’t started too badly for me. I am fairly content with where I am in life and more than confident that I can make improvements and enjoy the journey along the way.

Now What?

On March 1st 2017, I decided (yet again) that I would focus on losing weight by eating better and exercising more. The main inspiration behind this is the fact that my son Duane is getting married in March 2018 and I didn’t want to be limited to choosing a suit from just Jacamo ( I have bought some decent stuff from them btw) I wanted to have options.

Getting into my Groove

The first thing I had to do was make sure that I could get myself into an exercise routine on my own, which I did with the help of Haringey Boxing Club situated on Tottenham High Road. I then started to change my eating habits gradually. I still don’t think that I would class myself as a healthy eater today but my eating is a lot better than it used to be and I hardly drink fizzy drinks anymore which has been a real burden on my life as I was hooked on it. My next step was to get the help of a personal trainer and since July I have been working with Ricky of RJP FITNESS. I am going to talk a lot more about Ricky in my blog next week.
